Ukrainian combined team took part in XX Winter Olympic Games in Turin. Ukrainian sportsmen won 2 Bronze: biathlon and figure skating. At the Kyiv (Kiev) Hydropark beaches finished International tournament on beach volleyball "UkrZernoProm - Challenger 2005". This tournament became significant event in sport life of Kyiv (Kiev) and Ukraine. During the tournament at Kyiv (Kiev) beaches played sportsmen from 20 countries. A victory of the Ukrainian duet - Mykola Babych and Oleg Nykilayev - became a sensation of International tournament on beach volleyball "UkrZernoProm - Challenger 2005".

International tournament on beach volleyball "UkrZernoProm" - Challenger 2005 go on July 27-31. The sport event is organized by international Federation of Volleyball (FIVB), Ukrainian Federation of Volleyball and Ukrainian Company "UkrZernoProm". Teams from over 10 countries will compete.
League Champions: Kyiv "Dynamo" vs Swiss "Tun"
Football club "Dynamo" Kyiv will meet Swiss "Tun" on Olimpiysky Stadium in Kiev. It will be the first match of Dynamo in the second round of League Champions qualifications. The next play between "Dynamo" Kyiv and "Tun" is scheduled on August 3 and will take place in "Tun" homeland.
