International workshop MICE Ukraine 2005 will take place on September 27 at "Premier Palace" hotel, the first event in Ukraine, focused on business tourism. MICE Ukraine 2005 Organizers - are leaders in the sphere of conferences and exhibitions organization at CIS and East European countries - ITE Group Plc (Great Britain) and "Premier Expo" (Ukraine).
MICE stands for the main business travel components: M - Meetings, I - Incentives, C - Conferences, E - Events. Business travel is a relatively young sector of the travel and tourism industry even on an international scale. Europe and the USA began to speak about MICE as a separate and highly profitable industry in the 1970s-80s. On the Ukrainian market, business travel started to develop as recently as the 1990s.
Ukraine is currently developing its business travel infrastructure and is building new business hotels, congress centers, and growing the number of exhibitions, conferences, international forums and other business events. This trend is understandable - in recent years business travel has become one of the most profitable sectors of the world travel & tourism economy.
Today the Ukrainian MICE industry is showing rapid development. MICE Ukraine 2005 will be the next step in highlighting the issues faced by those involved with the Ukrainian business travel market by providing MICE industry professionals with the ideal platform to meet face-to-face with new clients and discuss the development of the market.
